On International Women’s Day, we’d like to celebrate the amazing women who stepped up to the plate during World War 2.

Timber was critical to the war effort and with only a 7 month stockpile and the men away fighting on the front line, the women had to take charge.

Affectionately know as The Lumberjills, these women proved themselves as strong and as capable as any man.
