Today, April 22^nd 2022 is the 52^nd annual Earth Day.  First started in the USA in 1970, it is now recognised across the world; a global event to highlight the urgent need to protect our environment.

This year’s theme is “Invest in our Planet”.

“This is the moment to change it all – the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate.  Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, our livelihoods.” the Earth Day website states.

Let’s all get involved – not just today but with ongoing support and thought for our planet.  Two super simple ways of helping out is by planting trees through the Canopy Project or by checking out Earth Day’s Global Clean Up project, a worldwide campaign to remove billions of pieces of litter from neighbourhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks.
